From the 21st till the 26th August 2005 the first „Pillnitz Summeracademy on organic animal husbandry” took place. This internationally oriented training course covering selected topics from the field of organic animal production was organised in cooperation with the professorship for Ecological Agriculture at the University of Applied Sciences HTW in Dresden, Germany and the August Cieszkowski Agricultural University of Poznan, Poland.

The „Pillnitz Summeracademy on organic animal husbandry” 2005 was supported by the Schweißfurth-Foundation, Munich, the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation, Warsaw and the Foundation “Zukunftsstiftung Landwirtschaft”, Bochum.
